Pell City High School is participating in the distance learning efforts underway statewide.  Governor Bob Riley's goal was to provide the best education to all students in our State.  Using video conferencing technology and online courses that vision is becoming realized. 

Our students are benefiting by enrollment in Latin and Spanish online courses.  Courses are taught using curriculum approved by the State and led by highly qualified teachers.  Students access assignments through a learning management system, using laptops connected to the Internet. 

Mr. Bob Jones is helping make it possible for students at Marbury High School in Autauga County to take AP Chemistry.  Students at Marbury High attend class and participate via video conferencing technology.  This technology allows students to see and hear the teacher as the class is being conducted.
