Child Nutrition Program
Mission Statement: We enable a healthy life of learning and achievement by providing students with nutritious meals created with dedication, passion, and expertise.
The Pell City School System Child Nutrition Program encourages all students and faculty to participate in the school lunch program. Our goal is to serve nutritious, healthy, and appetizing meals that students and staff will enjoy. The Pell City school system remains committed to providing a menu that promotes health and wellness.
The purpose for collecting race and ethnicity data on the free and reduced meal applications is to determine how effectively School Meal Programs are reaching potentially eligible students. Giving this data is voluntary, it is kept confidential, and the responses given have NO effect on eligibility.
