Child Nutrition Program
The Pell City School System Child Nutrition Program encourages all students and faculty to participate in the school lunch program. Our goal is to serve nutritious, healthy, and appetizing meals that everyone will enjoy. Pell City Schools remains committed to providing a menu that promotes health and wellness. Our mission is simple: To enable a healthy life of learning and achievement by providing students with nutritious meals created with dedication, passion, and expertise. School Wellness:
If you are interested in participating in the School Wellness Committee; public meetings are advertised and hosted triennially. Public stakeholder participation is encouraged and welcomed. Collection of Information and How It Is Used:
When completing free and reduced meal applications, the purpose for collecting demographic (race and ethnicity) data is to determine how effectively school meal programs are reaching potentially eligible students. Given that submission of this data is voluntary, it is kept confidential. Responses provided concerning demographics in no way affect eligibility for the free and reduced price meal program.
